Objective:
The test is designed to compare two spell rotations using Nidalee at level 2 (with 10% Attack Speed Shard). One test uses Primal Surge (E) turned OFF, while the other uses Primal Surge (E) turned ON, which grants a +30% Attack Speed bonus.
Spell Rotations:
AA → Swipe(E) → AA → Takedown(Q)AA → AA → Swipe(E) → Takedown(Q)Additional Note:
The initial auto-attack (AA) is always included because, during a jungle clear, there is always an auto-attack involved in the spell rotation. Also, for simplicity, the extra 1% Missing Health damage for every 1% of the target’s missing health from Takedown is not included in the calculations, even though it should be considered in the final analysis.
This section outlines the basic auto-attacks informations for Nidalee at level 2, depending on whether Primal Surge (E) is activated or not.
This section describes the step-by-step combo and the total damage dealt in each scenario.
When Primal Surge (E) = OFF:
AA (53) → E (0.25 s, 64) → AA (53) → Q (53+5+~~%MissingHealth~~) = **228**AA (53) → AA (53) → E (0.25 s, 64) → Q (53+5+~~%MissingHealth~~) = **228**When Primal Surge (E) = ON (+30% AS):
The same sequences yield the same total damage of 228 in each case.
Even though the total damage per combo remains unchanged, the differences in the timings (due to attack speed changes and Swipe(E) usage) affect the overall DPS efficiency.
This section calculates the overall duration of a spell cycle (i.e., one complete rotation), explaining how each component’s timing contributes to the total.
